Abstract

Andkhoy, with its rich history and abundant historical monuments, is located on the Silk Road, and its historical monuments such as places of worship, tombs, cities, and castles have added to the richness of its history. This research is important because of its detailed study of the history of Andkhoy, its familiarity with its ancient monuments, and its further reflection on the field of tourism by domestic and foreign tourists. This article uses historical and library sources to collect information for a detailed study of historical monuments. The present research aims to identify the historical position of Andkhoy by studying and examining its historical sites. It is hoped that this research will be useful for those interested in historical studies to gain a deeper understanding of the history of Andkhoy, identify challenges for the protection of historical monuments, and suggest solutions for their preservation, and promote public awareness about the historical monuments of this city. The findings of this study show that Andkhoy has many historical monuments that represent its glorious history and cultural diversity and can be used by relevant institutions and organizations for their restoration and care.
