Abstract

Ethical values in the light of Hanafi jurisprudence play an important role in the moral development and social stability of Islamic society. Hanafi jurisprudence not only provides guidance on acts of worship but also establishes principles concerning human conduct, justice, honesty, and social responsibility. Therefore, adherence to ethical values is highly important for the improvement of both individual and social life. The aim of this research was to clarify the significance of ethical values from the perspective of Hanafi jurisprudence, highlight their constructive role in shaping individual character, and examine how Hanafi jurisprudence can contribute to the moral development of society. The study employed a library-based, descriptive, and analytical methodology, drawing upon Islamic sources, including the Qur’an, Hadith, and authoritative works of Hanafi jurisprudence. In addition, the views of Hanafi scholars were examined and analyzed to further clarify the subject. The findings show that Hanafi jurisprudence attaches considerable importance to ethical values and that these values contribute to the development of a healthy and balanced society. When individuals apply these principles in their daily lives, they can contribute to personal moral development as well as greater social security, justice, and harmony.
