Abstract

This article examines the impact of space conditions on living organisms. It examines the fundamental biological processes that occur during prolonged exposure to conditions typical of space, such as microgravity, radiation, magnetic field changes, and others. It describes the results of experiments on the International Space Station, as well as predictions regarding the impact of these factors on human health during long-term space missions. Potential biomedical approaches to mitigating the negative effects of space conditions are discussed. We test the hypothesis that the dependence of cosmic radiation intensity on the observation angle  is described by the formula , where  is the distance from the point of origin of the observed muons( ) to the detector for each observation angle, and  is the detector area.
