Abstract

Job motivation is considered one of the key factors in improving performance, increasing productivity, and enhancing the quality of services within organizations, particularly in banks. In a competitive and dynamic environment, identifying and strengthening the factors influencing employee job motivation can play a crucial role in improving job satisfaction, reducing turnover, and boosting productivity. Job motivation, as one of the most important drivers of productivity and employee satisfaction, directly impacts the quality of banking services and customer satisfaction. This study was conducted with the aim of examining the factors affecting job motivation among employees of banks in Faryab Province. From the perspective of its objective, the research is applied in nature, and in terms of methodology, it follows a descriptive-survey design. The statistical population consists of bank employees in Faryab Province, totaling 71 individuals, from which, based on Cochran's formula, a sample of 60 respondents was selected using a simple random sampling method. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26 through descriptive statistical tests, correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that factors such as the sense of security, sense of respect, sense of autonomy, sense of belonging, and sense of self-actualization have a positive and significant relationship with job motivation. The findings suggest that strengthening psychological components plays a highly important role in enhancing employee motivation, and that financial incentives alone are not sufficient.
