Abstract

The efficiency of the hiring process is important for the performance and sustainability of organizations in the chemical manufacturing sector. This research paper looks at the recruitment and selection methods used by companies in this industry. It highlights their effects on employee satisfaction, organizational productivity, and talent retention. The study aims to examine current hiring practices, identify challenges faced by HR departments, and suggest ways to improve them through technology and better processes. Data was gathered using structured questionnaires and observations made during an internship in the Human Resource Department of a leading chemical manufacturing firm. The findings show that while the recruitment process is mostly organized and based on merit, there are still issues with communication, feedback, and time management. The study concludes that using digital tools and adopting a more candidate-focused approach can improve both the effectiveness and transparency of the hiring process in the chemical manufacturing sector.
